Danielle caught the yoga bug ten years ago at Mission Yoga in San Francisco, while working in nonprofit fundraising. She practiced steadily for three years before deciding that she wanted to share this transformative practice in a more direct way than just dragging everyone she knew into class. Danielle graduated Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Spring 2011, just outside the LAX airport, and spent the next two years teaching full time in Cleveland and right here at the Yoga Factory in Pittsburgh. Since then, she's split her time between yoga and fundraising. She's taught short or long term at such far flung locales as Bikram Yoga Waikoloa on the big island of Hawaii, Hot Yoga Harrisonburg in small town Virginia, Hot Yoga Bergen in Bergen, Norway, and Yoga Factory Annapolis in Maryland. Danielle was honored to represent Pennsylvania at the USA Yoga National Finals in 2015, and attended Jared McCann's Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in Brooklyn, NY in 2017. She's delighted to be back in her hometown for good, as a member of the fundraising team at the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering, and as a teacher here at her beloved home studio, Yoga Factory Pittsburgh. Danielle's classes are warm, supportive, and a little silly. If you've got a good (bad) joke, she'd love to hear it!
